BUY IT ONCE, USE IT FOR A LIFETIME

Once you have created media using i-Ware CD™ Technology you have the ability to re-author the application the viewer sees for the life of the media. With i-Ware CD™ Technology you are only limited by your imagination! With no programming skills you can create your very own unique interface and manage that media while it is in the customer's hands.

The concept is very simple. We use the standard web based protocols and ports to provide a more robust interface and more functionality than you can get from a web browser. You can customize your own application on that media to what you want it to be without being a programmer, in real time, from anywhere you have an Internet connection. Our "Click and Drag" interface editors provide a "What You See Is What You Get" approach to re-authoring your media while it's in your clients hands. Our patent pending technology provides a restructured data system for web based information providing faster web based data access and a level of flexibility that is unmatched on the Internet today.

As pioneers of Content Management and Interactive Web Based Learning we have pioneered some of the most commonly used technologies on the Internet today. The evolution of Content Management has lead to Web 2.0 technologies that have reshaped the way we use the Internet today. We expect our latest pioneering effort, the Portable Media Operating System™, to follow in the footsteps of our other ventures and help reshape the way we use the Internet tomorrow.

HOW A WEB BROWSER WORKS

The way a web browser works is very simple. It has worked in the same basic manner since it's creation. You open a web browser and connect to a web site on the Internet. The web page that loads is stored on your computer for continuous use as a temporary file or a group of files that allows you to view the information as you're on that page. As a broadband immersed world we seem to have grown past that stage and now go directly to a site for the latest information. Each link on the page allows you to see additional information within the site creating a "Web" of links back and forth between web based assets such as text, image, video, audio and more.
Each link you click on in the browser creates a request called a "Fetch" that sends data to the server saying "I want to see this asset". The functionality of the web server has changed a bit over the years in how it delivers the information back to the browser to incorporate new technologies. These improvements have been reflected in the browser in terms of what type of data the browser is able to present but the browser continues to work in the same manner. Once the server gets the request from the browser it then does whatever it needs to do to gather all the information the viewer has just requested.
This could be as simple as sending information back to the browser to inform it of the location of an image or could create a chain of events that involve multiple servers delivering different types of assets to be gathered by one main server and sent in one stream of data to the browser in the form of a web page and streaming media. When the web page is read by the browser it finds pointers to assets such as images, video, and audio using the data stream sent from the server. The browser then invokes another request called a "Get" to obtain the asset that is shown in the web browser. This completes, on a basic level, what happens each time you click on a link. First we make a request from the server and it has to gather the information and respond. The entire data stream that comes from the server has to be read by the browser which includes the instructions for the browser as well as all the text data seen on the page. The more assets in a page the more "Get" requests the browser has to read and initiate to display the assets, all of which take up bandwidth and time.

HOW I-WARE CD™ TECHNOLOGY WORKS

i-Ware CD™ Technology gets a significant speed boost from the manner in which it manages the data that is passed back and forth between the server and the PMOS™ each time a viewer clicks on a link. When the PMOS™ boots up it uses a very small amount of bandwidth and temporary file space on the viewers computer.

Once the user is connected to the Internet and the PMOS™ has booted, it uses the temporary files to do most of the work normally done when the browser and the server communicate. By restructuring the data in this manner we are able to increase the speed in which web based assets can be accessed in a format that has no scripting within the native interface. With no scripting there is less of a chance of virus or ad-ware infection providing a very high level of safety, for the viewer against Internet pitfalls such as these.

Since the data being read by the PMOS™ is controlled from an Interface Management Application™ you have full control over the interface, the data it displays, the functions it has, and the features you want to use. Any time you want to change the presentation your viewers see you simply make those changes from the Interface Editor and save the data. With the click of a button you can switch between any interface within a group of interfaces giving you quick and easy access to different information and applications for your media. It has been proven that portable media is one of the best ways to distribute message. You can continually spend money on the same media or buy it once and use it for a lifetime.

TRADITIONAL STRATEGIES

Everyone knows you have to spend money to make money. One of the most common expenses is your marketing budget. As a business owner you learn that to be successful in your business you have to spend a particular percentage of your gross profits for marketing expenses.

The traditional strategy used is an interesting balance of marketing strategy, marketing budget and marketing material costs that helps to determine the type of material used and the coverage area in your marketing strategy. Each year, or in many cases each month, you use that budget to inform the same people you sent information to in the last distribution of the new information you now want them to see. Demographics take a part in a small revenue boost to some degree as people move out and communities expand causing new business. This helps sustain the original influx of business you received from the initial marketing strategy.

Consumers are very educated today and use the Internet to research the types of products they want before ordering on-line or going to a store to purchase the item. Past consumers, through the Internet, provide new consumers with feedback on companies, products and services. If you can't get all the information to the viewer that they need to make an intelligent decision then you're not even in the running. Your coverage area is largely based on your budget. The number of consumers you are able to reach, market to and turn in to sales each year does not grow much since the average person stays in their home for about 7-12 years before moving.

On one hand this is good since you are able to keep marketing to those people who have an interest in what your doing today. If you sell pizza, and on average 7 out of 10 people like to eat pizza, no matter how many times you send the other three your material, they still will not like pizza. You have to market for a minimum of seven years in one area with this strategy to market to an entirely new group of consumers than you were able to reach, and gain as customers in the initial strategy. The only way your market expands under this model is if you are able to generate enough revenue each year that the percent you use for marketing grows large enough to effect your coverage size. This is a great concept for marketing to consumers but significantly restricts customer base expansion due to a limited marketing budget.

NEW STRATEGIES USING I-WARE CD™ TECHNOLOGY

Using the same concept in a different manner allows us to reach a much larger coverage area, get the impact out of initial market penetration more often, and manage the strategy more effectively. With i-Ware CD™ enabled media you are able to market with that same budget and alternate your coverage area over different distributions with your information. With i-Ware CD™ enabled media you are able to keep the current consumers updated with the media they already have and use your budget to penetrate additional markets thereby increasing your revenue marketing to a larger consumer base.

Statistically we know that when utilizing portable media, such as CD or DVD, you can generate as much as a 50% - 600% better response rate than with printed material. If you are able to acquire 10% of the consumers, on average, in the first few months of distribution, then gain another 1%-2% of the market each consecutive distribution, over five years you could acquire and maintain small percentage of the market if you consider the attrition rate. Wouldn't it be better to keep the consumers who are interested in your company and it's products and services updated using the media they already have and move to a new area to acquire the next 10% of the consumers that will want your products and services right now?

Creating a cycle of Distribution Zones across a larger coverage area, covering overlapping sections with each distribution, allows you to get multiple reminders to the consumer and move on to the next group of new consumers. Repeating that same scenario will allow you to maintain a much larger coverage area and customer base while giving the demographics an opportunity to change before coming back to any area again. Once you get back to the original coverage area your distribution in that area will be more likely to reach a larger number of new potential customers providing results similar to the results you would see in a new market penetration based on your expanded coverage area and the time frame of your distribution cycle.

Each time you send out the media you are able to expand the number of potential customers you market to. At an average of 10% customer acquisition, over three month periods, in 7 distribution zones, your customer base would be an average of 70% of your original coverage area in under 2 years. By utilizing the Internet Channel that is created by the PMOS™ you are able to create customer loyalty by providing special offerings and services through the media and build a communication channel between your business and your customer base that can be invaluable to your business.

TRACKING REAL TIME CONSUMER RESPONSE

When utilizing i-Ware CD™ enabled media you are able to see a real time consumer response to your strategies by seeing what your viewers look at and how long they spend in that area. By doing so you are able to adjust your interface to help get a better response out of your strategies and do so in real time. You can view reporting to show you how many times your media has been viewed, how many times each viewer has viewed the media, what sections and subsections they viewed, how long they stayed in that area and get all of that information, as it happening in real time, and down to the second. By far this is one of the aspects of our patent pending technology that provides real power to the distributor of the media - real time feedback and response in multi-media authoring.

This gives you the power to track the viewing time of each area of information you provide in your interface. If you have a video that is five minutes long, and you notice that your only getting viewers to stay in that section for 30 seconds, you are able to make the neccessary changes in the interface to get a better response from the viewers and get your message to them more effectively.

INFINITELY EXPANDABLE PLATFORM

i-Ware CD Technology™ provides an infinitely expandable platform to our customers through the Plug-Ins and Add-Ons made available to them. These are small applications that add additional functionality to i-Ware CD™ enabled media you already have in the field. There currently is a wide range to choose from and new ones in development. Legacy media, previously distributed, is able to take advantage of all the additional Plug-In and Add-On features irrelevant to the distribution date.

Customized functionality can be provided to our customer's media through Plug-Ins or Add-Ons that meet their needs. This allows clients to meet their specific needs on a case by case basis while expanding the service offering to all customers. Many of these are made available to customers at no additional charge allowing them to get the most out of the media they have already purchased. This new perspective on authoring and re-authoring distributed media has never been considered before and i-Ware CD Technologies, LLP delivers it at a price you can afford.

TURNING YOUR BUDGET IN TO AN INVESTMENT!

Getting i-Ware CD™ enabled media is simple and very inexpensive. There are two options available for your distribution strategy. One is to utilize the CPV (Cost Per View) program when you purchase your media and pay a small fee each time your media is seen. The other is to purchase your media with an End User License Agreement that allows you to pay a one time fee for each user license and receive unlimited views from that media. Either one of these methods provides you with some of the most powerful media and technology for the Internet today. For a small monthly fee you can manage your media in real time as long as it is in the field.

If by this time you're not already convinced that i-Ware CD™ Technology is a must for your business, allow one of our Technologists to provide with a free consultation to show you how i-Ware CD™ Technology can work for you. There are many companies out there touting what they call a new technology for portable media that is nothing more than a Flash presentation, which is not a new technology. Not only will we tell you that you can update the content with i-Ware CD™ Technology but we will show you how our proprietary, patent pending technology will allow you to re-author your application after you have distributed the media, do so in real time, and with no programming skills. If you really want to harness the power of the Internet in your business strategies, look for the company that has successfully and consistently delivered pioneering technologies for the Internet, i-Ware CD™ Technology.
